Allison and Brian’s story began at West Morris Central High School, though they still disagree on exactly where it started. Brian insists they met in French class, while Allison is sure it was math class. The debate remains unresolved, but either way, high school is where it all began.

After graduation, Brian headed to New York University, and Allison went to the University of Delaware. Their college years were spent long distance, taking turns visiting each other almost every month and making the most of every weekend together.

New York City quickly became a special part of their story. On one of their first trips to the city together in high school, Brian confidently claimed he could be the tour guide. The result was a 20,000-step day across Manhattan because he didn’t quite know how to use public transportation yet. Somehow, it still became one of their favorite memories.

After college, Allison and Brian moved in together in New York City, where Brian began his career in finance and Allison began hers as a nurse. Along the way, they built a home with their two cats, Angus and Scuttle, and made New York City their own — exploring new neighborhoods, trying new restaurants, staying active, and finding joy in the everyday moments together.

More than seven years after their story began, Brian proposed at Brooklyn Bridge Park by Jane’s Carousel, with the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge behind them. It was meant to be a surprise, but Allison started to catch on, so Brian pretended to be sick that morning to throw her off the trail. It worked — at least until they started walking through the park and she realized what was happening.

From high school classrooms to college visits, from long walks through New York City to building a life together, Allison and Brian are so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
